Management Accountant - Fast Growth Business

Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will be focused on factory performance, costings and reporting on KPIs.

Description

-Work with the Operations team to define and develop appropriate financial KPI's to drive profitability, performance and efficiency within the new manufacturing facility

-Monthly inventory valuation and reconciliation to the General Ledger

-Reporting product profitability

- Preparation of information for the monthly management accounts

- Contributing to the preparation of manufacturing budgets and forecasts

- Control and reporting of departmental budgets

Profile

* Solid knowledge of basic and advanced accounting and financial principles and practices
* Experience of driving a profit focused approach to a small manufacturing facility:
o Reporting product profitability
o cost accounting and reporting
o budgeting and forecasting
* Good knowledge of financial software preferably Sage 200 and associated MRP system
* Good analytic skills, a problem-solver with attention to detail
* Excellent communication and presentation skills
* Good organisational skills

Qualifications and Experience Levels
* Educated to a degree level
* 5 years experience relevant experience
* Part qualified in relevant certification (e.g. CIMA or ACCA) will be preferred but not essential
* An experienced Management Accountant who is 'Qualified by Experience' would be acceptable
