Investor On-Boarding Team Leader

My client, a leading Fund administrator are currently recruiting an Investor On-Boarding Team Leader to join their Transfer Agency Team. In this role you will be responsible for directing team members within the IOB Team with the objective to achieve overall high client satisfaction. The role will involve working closely with, and providing support to, the manager to ensure the team operates efficiently and that deadlines are met. You will also be required to possess strong people management experience as well as the ability to delegate and to gain the commitment among team members. Responsibilities: Provide oversight in the day-to-day activities of the Investor On-Boarding team. Review the application of AML standards to new investor files prior to onboarding. Actively participate with relationship managers and support team in the launch of new funds/share classes. Establish with senior management team standards and procedures for the On-Boarding Team. Cross-training of staff on KYC standards to develop depth of knowledge. Conduct performance review of team members and recommend promotions to Managers. Co-ordinate both team and individual meetings which must include action points. Manage controls competently to reduce any potential risk areas. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in relevant field. 6-8 years Funds/ TA experience, 4 of which should be in an AML/ Compliance or Risk function. Minimum of 3 years supervisory experience. Excellent knowledge of AML/KYC legal requirements aligned to current regulations. Knowledge or prior experience of Multifonds TA is considered essential. I.T. literate with a proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). The salary for this role is negotiable depending on experience. Non E.U. Citizens applying must hold a Stamp 4 Visa.
