Coin Street Community Builders (CSCB) is a social enterprise and our aim is to create an inspirational neighbourhood. CSCB has transformed a largely derelict 13–acre site into a thriving mixed–use neighbourhood by creating new co–operative homes; shops, galleries, restaurants, cafes and bars; a park and riverside walkway; sports facilities; by organising festivals and events; and by providing childcare, family support, learning, and enterprise support programmes. Income is generated from a variety of sources including the hire of retail and catering spaces, event spaces, meeting room spaces and conference venue spaces as well as the provision of consultancy services.
The Group Management Accountant plays an important role within the finance team by preparing the monthly management accounts and supporting information, for all companies in the group, within the specified deadlines, to ensure the provision of accurate and timely management information to managers, directors and trustees.
Our revenue streams include generating income from conferences and commercial activities, so we are looking for someone with a commercial mindset who can understand the complexities of diverse business streams and deal with complex financial issues. The successful candidate will have proven experience of preparing of monthly management accounts. We are looking for someone who is part qualified with CIMA – ACCA with management accounts preparation experience or qualified by experience.
With around 85 employees, we're small and nimble but we have big ambitions and are always exploring and developing new ways to make our offices a great place to work. In return for your hard work as well as a competitive salary you can enjoy a range of benefits including our cycle–to–work scheme, free gym membership, 27 days annual leave plus Bank Holidays (pro–rated for part–time employees) a generous pension scheme and much more.
Please apply for the role by emailing a completed application and equal opportunities monitoring form with an up to date CV.
Please note we reserve the right to close the application process early if we receive enough applications, so we encourage you to apply early.
