Chief Accountant ( Saudi Arabia )

Manage the accounting process and the core
accounting functions of Cash and banks,
AR, AP ,FA and manufacturing costing, as well as releasing monthly trial
balance and monthly financial statements timely and accurately

1- Cash and Banks .

· Monitor daily cash receipts and deposits in
the Aljabr Soft Drinks banks accounts with no delays

· Monitor checks clearance

· Review, verify and approve monthly bank
reconciliations within 2 business days after the month end to ensure their correctness and avoid long pending transactions Strict implementation of
cash receipt policies and procedures

2- Accounts Receivable

· Review and control the AR’s weekly delinquency
reports to ensure customer compliance with credit payment terms

· Review, along with credit committee, credit
applications for new credit customers or increasing the credit line for existing credit customers through maintaining effective control over credit
accounts with proper payment periods and terms to ensure matching with the
approved credit policies and procedures

· Control the timely allocation of payments with
their invoices to ensure proper closure of payments

. Monitor the collection process weekly and decide on the actions required to collect the overdue receivables or write
off

3- Accounts Payable

· Direct the accounts payable to ensure timely
payments to all suppliers to maintain the Company’s image and reputation

· Monitor vendor payments ensuring compliance
with finance policies and procedures, completeness of payments supporting documents and required approvals

· Coordinate with treasury for future
significant payments to suppliers to ensure effective cash flow
management

· Monitor all cash imprests and down payments to
suppliers to ensure timely clearance and control over cash imprests and avoid
pending down payments to suppliers

. Minimize cash payments to
suppliers, shift to credit suppliers accounts and endeavours to increase
payment periods to improve the Aljabr Soft Drinks cash flow

4- General Ledger

· Review monthly trial balance to issue monthly
financial statements in compliance with applicable accounting standards in
Saudi Arabia

. Review accrued accounts,
Zakat provisions and slow movement stock and doubtful debts provisions to ensure
data accuracy and reliability

5- Fixed Assets

· Review the Asset Register to ensure that all
fixed assets are within fixed asset policy

· Monitor the monthly closing of fixed asset
system requirement

· Monitor the fixed assets register with proper
categories, classifications and proper tagging to ensure applying the proper
internal controls and their compliance with the general ledger

. Monitor fixed assets
additions and disposals for all branches and ensure implementing related
policies and procedures with the required approvals
