Finance Analyst

A permanent Finance Analyst role is being recruited for a business based in Liverpool.

Client Details

A leading business based in Liverpool with a £100m turnover, and growing on an international level, this business has over 400 employees with several sites across the UK. They now have an opportunity for a Finance Analyst to join on a permanent basis.

Description

This role will report directly into a successful Financial Controller, but will also work closely with other site directors, and will cover the following areas:

• Producing monthly management packs
• Preparing annual budgets and forecasts, including variance analysis with commentaries
• Control of the nominal ledger and balance sheet account reconciliations
• Cost and cash control
• Overseeing tax and compliance
• Cash flow management and reporting
• Posting accruals and prepayments

Profile

This is a great opportunity for a candidate that prefers a hands on and results-focused role. We are also looking for:

• Strong management accounts background with solid business and commercial acumen
• Excellent Excel skills - able to do pivots, look up etc.
• IT literate with strong systems knowledge
• Strong communication skills and not afraid to challenge people
• Methodical and high attention to detail
