Finance Technician - Part Qualified

This is a role within our Accounting Operations team, who are responsible for the accuracy and data integrity of the monthly financial close. As a member of the team you will play a vital part in helping the department to achieve its operational objectives and ensure the team delivers a high quality service.

My client is a world renowned business with their UK operation based at their large offices in Whiteley.

Description

The role is part of a team who are focused on the completion of the monthly close process and delivery of all reporting for Finance. Your responsibilities will include -

- Supporting the internal Group reporting for IFRS, Irish GAAP and Solvency II

- Balance sheet reporting, analysis, reconciliations and control

- Support and analysis for Group financial reporting

- Help identify and implement improvement opportunities

- Assist in defining and building new reports in line with business needs

- Work closely with the offshore team to embed new processes

- Ensure tasks performed adhere to the control framework

Profile

The right candidate will be studying towards a professional qualification ACCA/CIMA.

You will also have been working in a finance role that will have involved monthly reporting.
