Working at the forefront of the finance team requires mental agility. Our Finance Service Desk receives high volumes of enquiries from clients, suppliers and employees about a whole range of issues important to them. It’s a complex role that primarily deals with accounts payable and accounts receivable queries, so you’ll need to build strong working relationships to be successful. The ability to provide accurate guidance in a professional and timely manner is essential.
Your role
You will need good experience of working in a customer focussed environment, dealing with volume calls and enquiries. You should be a team player with a calm and courteous manner and confident you can communicate professionally at all times.
Your work, your choice
How long does impact take? How long is a piece of string? How many seconds does a solution contain? How can we possibly tell? After all, impact can be huge or small. Immediate or years in the making. At Deloitte we believe the best impact is the value we add, not the hours we sit at our desk.
We, therefore, carefully consider agile ways of working, both formal and informal, that allow for the best impact for our people and our clients. If the working pattern you are looking for is not specifically indicated below, we are happy to discuss alternative arrangements.
Location: Central Milton Keynes
Suggested work pattern: Fixed term/Permanent full time. Agile working options available. Shifts between 7am and 6pm.
Your professional experience
A background in Finance would advantageous, but not essential. Microsoft Office skills are a must.
