Assistant Management Accountant

I am working with a rapidly growing organisation in Caerphilly County who are looking to bring on a brilliant Assistant Management Accountant who will support the company over the coming years whilst they experience rapid growth.

Client Details

The client is a market leading in their field, with a rapidly increasing order book that includes clients across the globe. You would be working closely with FD assisting them in the day to day management accountants and learning from them.

Description

As a Assistant Management Accountant you would be involved in:

• Preparation of management accounts packs for various teams

• Balance sheet control account reconciliations

• Accruals/prepayments

• Maintaining the fixed asset registers

• VAT return preparation

• Assist in the preparation of yearly financial statements and budget setting

• Ownership of the operational accounting of the business (Stock, revenue, costs of sales, commissions, rebates, pricing (including discounts))

• Reconciliations, forecasting and budgeting

• Produce regular reports for the senior management team

• Supporting the various internal Stakeholders by providing regular analytical review of trends to maximise profit and streamline revenue, including interrogation of historical financial data to provide insights into customer behaviour

• Responding to ad hoc requests for information from the business and senior management.

Profile

For the Assistant Management Accountant role we are looking for candidates who:

• Are highly analytic
• Experienced on Excel
• Have worked as a Assistant Accountant previously or have experience of Management Accountants
• Work on own initiative in order to prioritise work to meet finance deadlines.
• Continually work to find innovative
