Strategic Finance Manager

Advise, structure, and execute corporate financial transactions to enable BlueVine to expand business and develop its financial organization; build and maintain five (5) year forecast model for BlueVine's various businesses; evaluate potential new business lines; create financial models; provide corporate finance/capital markets analyses; execute capital structuring solutions; manage financing processes (investment banks & underwriters); evaluate strategic finance/capital solutions for operational & growth initiatives; present findings to BlueVines management team; develop annual budget; build budget model; coordinate annual budgeting process with leads from BlueVines teams; work with leads to develop buy–in and consensus within budget; work with accounting team to synchronize budget model with NetSuite; develop budget vs. actual processes for upcoming year; meet with leads of revenue teams on monthly basis to evaluate monthly progress vs. budget; develop weekly cash flow models to estimate companys cash needs (near/long–term basis); present findings to finance and capital markets teams senior members with recommendations on credit facility structure, fundraising needs; identify Key Performance Metrics (KPIs) for BlueVine as a whole; develop framework for discussing KPIs; coordinate quarterly discussion on progress; develop/maintain model for unit economics for companys various products; present findings of model on monthly basis; participate with business development and CP teams regarding partner fee structures; contribute unit economics sensitivity to various structures; create materials for Board meetings on various finance topics (performance versus budget, updates to forecasts); follow developments and valuation trajectories with comparable companies (public and private); identify key metrics to compare BlueVine to these companies; present findings on quarterly basis; develop marketing materials for future capital raises; use SQL pull cohort level data to maintain cohort level model of origination; identify repeat behavior trends; coordinate with BizOps/BI teams to develop insight into volume retention trends by all relevant customer base segmentations; and identify any trend deviations.

Job Requirements:

Bachelors degree or foreign equivalent in Finance, Economics, or Accounting plus 2 years experience. Experience to include creating financial models, providing corporate finance/capital markets analyses; executing capital structuring solutions; managing financing processes (investment banks & underwriters); and evaluating strategic finance/capital solutions for operational & growth initiatives.
