An opportunity has arisen for a Financial Controller to join a rapidly growing consultancy based in central London.

Client Details

My client is an environmental consultancy founded in 1996. It has 26 offices globally and is going through a period of rapid growth. Their office is based in central London.

Description

The Financial Controller will be responsible for the following:

  • Analyse data and coordinate with the Senior Management to drive the overall controlling on a business group level including variance analysis on both income and cost
  • Collaborate actively within the project and business line controlling
  • Carry over liquidity planning for the whole business group
  • Lead the group budget process through coordination with the Management and other stakeholders
  • Work closely with Global HQ to maintain and further advance strong processes to support timely reporting
  • Identify and drive initiatives to further leverage financial systems, streamline process flows and create systematic methods for efficient data processing, reporting and analysis of past history, current positions and predictive future performance

    The successful Financial Controller will have the following:

    • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Controlling, Finance or an equivalent education is essential
    • International accounting experience and proven working experience as a financial controller desirable
    • Experience in an SME would be an desirable
    • Self starter with the ability to develop solutions to challenging issues
    • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
    • Solid organisational skills and attention to detail
    • Management or team leadership experience would be desirable
    • Excellent IT skills, especially in MS Excel

    Job Offer

    Basic salary up to £60,000 depending on experience.
