Cluttons is currently looking to recruit an Accounts Payable Administrator on a 14 month FTC to cover a maternity leave in our Reading office. The successful candidate will work in the payments team which comprises of 6 team members, 4 of which work directly on our Telecoms portfolio.

The main element of the role is query resolution and you will be expected to communicate with the landlords both by email and telephone. There is also a smaller element of invoice processing.

Key deliverables
  • Query management and resolution
  • Processing Invoices
  • Chasing Tax receipts
  • Assisting with the preparation of weekly payment runs, as and when requested
  • Managing incoming emails
  • Dealing with queries over the phone
  • Filing and Scanning
  • Accurately updating and maintaining all relevant systems


  • Educated to GCSE level (or equivalent) in Maths and English
  • Strong numeracy skills. A keen interest in Accounts Payable would be advantageous
  • Ability to work well within a team
  • Confident using Excel, Word and email
  • Customer focused
  • Strong interpersonal and client service skills, with the ability to interact confidently and competently with external customers (ie. landlords)
  • Confident communicator, both written and verbal
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Quick learner with a can do attitude
