internal reporting & payroll finance manager
We're already well on the way from being the UK's favourite little smoothie brand to being Europe's favourite little healthy drinks brand – with major operations across Western Europe and a range that spans smoothies, juices, coconut water, dairy alternatives, gazpacho and more.
Due to internal career progression and to continue our impressive growth we want to hire an internal reporting & payroll finance manager to join our group finance team and own payroll and our internal reporting as we scale and grow. You'll work closely with the finance and people team.
What you'll be doing:
You'll manage the UK payroll making sure we get paid correctly whilst liaising with our people team to derive team costs and provide insight. You will manage our payroll and overheads specialists and be the key point of contact for our travel and expenses provider and corporate travel management company.
A key element will be the creation of a monthly group payroll forecast for the People Director, CEO and COO. You'll own all bonus analysis across the UK for all our schemes, highlighting risks and opportunities early to make sure we manage our costs appropriately.
Coordination of the group payroll and overhead budgeting process, to produce a group outlook for annual planning and make sure we understand our OPEX costs across the group.
You'll coordinate uploads to Great Plains (accounting software) and updating reporting packs, to facilitate a group outlook making sure we have the right visibility on all the revenues and costs across the group.
You'll produce monthly management reports based on the Resource Plan, providing a forecast outlook for Head of Finance and all Senior Management (Area Chiefs and Board).
Acting as a partner with people team, Board and Head of Finance you'll deliver value through better insights allowing better decisions.
You'll provide support to international finance managers in respect of OPEX spend and advise on best course of action.
As a finance manager, your key role will be designing and evaluating changes to our reward plans and culture offerings to make sure they are fit for purpose and that we are staying competitive.
You'll assist with statutory reporting, corporate tax and audits (liaising with external stakeholders, e.g. auditors and tax authorities)
You'll be responsible for the management, coaching and development of at least a direct report.
- ACA, ACCA, CIMA qualified
- Business partnering skills – be able to build great relationships within the finance and people team and with other stakeholders across the business
- Proven accounting knowledge and financial analysis skills
- Organisational and project management skills
- Seeing big picture solutions from working through detail
- Ideally some understanding of expense platforms and accounting systems
This role is will give you the opportunity to develop your business partnering skills with the finance and people teams.
As a group finance manager you'll get an exposure to the company Senior Management (Area Chiefs and Board).
We'll give you the opportunity to develop your project management skills and work on payroll harmonization process across the regions.
You'll get a better understanding of the financial budgeting and forecasting systems.
