Financial Controller

An Exciting Financial Controller role for a rapidly growing Hospitality/retail business that owns a number of boutique coffee shops and a retail clothing brands. This person with be in charge of the entire finance function and report directly into the owners.

My client a rapidly growing Hospitality/retail business that owns a number of boutique coffee shops and a retail clothing brands within Central London.

Description

Key responsibilities of the Financial Controller role:

·Preparing reports, budgets, commentaries and financial statements

·Undertaking financial administration and internal audits

·Liaising with managerial staff and other colleagues

·Supervising accounting technicians

·Developing and managing financial systems/policies

·Negotiating and obtaining finance for major projects

·Controlling and forecasting income and expenditure

·Creating business strategies to generate shareholder value.

Profile

The successful candidate with be a fully qualified (ACCA, ACA, CIMA) accountant with ideally a minimum of 3 years post qualified experience within a retail or hospitality company. Other requirements are:

·Good understanding of month end procedures

·Staff management background

·Proven ability of working under pressure

·Strong IT skills

·Knowledge of Accounting software

·Understanding of modern management information systems

·The ability to work as part of a team

·Excellent analytical and numerical abilities

·Sound business knowledge

·Accuracy and an eye for detail.

Job Offer

Salary from £50,000 to £60,000
