Description

Reporting to the Head of Group Finance you will be working in a central Group Finance and Consolidation team based in Leeds assisting in preparing consolidated reporting and financial information.

Responsibilities will include;

Consolidation and presentation of Group results, commentary and KPIs for reporting to the Board and business:

Timetabling and Management of the Consolidated month end process.

Presentation of the Monthly Group Consolidated Results.

Preparation of the Monthly Business Review Reports for the Board

Review of information received to support the presentation of the monthly consolidated results.

Timetabling and management of the consolidated Group budget/forecasts.

Working and co-ordinating with the trading entities to schedule timings, inputs, commentary, presentation materials for budgets/forecasts.

All funding flows, subsidiary investments and intercompany detail appropriately dealt with within the consolidated budgets/forecasts.

Development of a software solution to improve process and control over the budgeting/forecasting cycle.

You would also provide support on a number of specific projects such as;

Improve systems and controls to ensure the Group financial control environment is appropriate for future growth.

Ongoing development and operationalization of accounting policies/operational procedures.

Profile

This role will ideally suit someone who is Practice trained and has had some post qualification experience.

You will have strong attention to detail and be able to communicate across all areas of the business.

You will also ideally have some management experience as this role does have a direct report.
