Our client, a well funded startup based in the UAE leveraging leading technologies in blockchain, smart contracts and cryptocurrencies to add value to companies is seeking a Financial Controller. The Financial Controller will be responsible for overseeing day to day financial and accounting activities across multiples offices and geographies. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a promosing start up and be part of impacting future business using leading technologies.

The Financial Controller will be responsible for the following:

  • Managing annual audit review and tax preparations, creating and maintaing financial models,

  • Overseeing all global accounting functions and ensure that record keeping meets the requirements of auditors and government agencies

  • Set KPI on controlling systems across departments, develop tools for automation and monthly reports, and present to leadership team

  • Work with leadership to create business cases and forecast financial impacts, including setting revenue and profitability strategy
