This Management Accountant role based in the Milton Keynes area within the medical and nursing sector who have strong links to the pharmaceutical industry and are looking for someone with strong month end accounting and systems experience

Client Details

Leading national client in their chosen field of medical and nursing products with close ties to the NHS and ideally in need of a Management accountant with good systems, year end accounting and NHS experience or exposure. Based in Milton Keynes they have parking onsite and good public transport links. This role is a 9-12 month contract with potential for the role to develop longer term should the right individual impress

Description

Management Accountant responsibilities and duties;

  • Year end accounts production
  • Month end accounting
  • Journal preparation
  • Monthly adjustments including accruals and prepayments
  • Assisting the management of strict budgets with a key cost control focus

    Experience required

  • Prior management accounting experience ideally 2-3 years
  • Based locally to Milton Keynes and able to commit to a 9 month contract.
  • Strong on excel and systems, ideally oracle due to a current systems project
  • Able to start straight away and interview this week
