This Finance Manager position is not only a role in accounts. This is an opportunity for someone to get involved in the whole business and turn their hand to all aspects of business as well as carry out the day to day finance duties.

Client Details

This Consultancy firm and going through an exciting period of growth. They are based in the City of London.


As the Finance Manager you will be responsible for the following:

  • Preparation of management accounts
  • Preparation of prepayment and accrual schedules, posting of journals and reconciliation to BS
  • Analyse P&L expense categories to ensure accuracy of management account information
  • Preparation of the quarterly VAT returns, monthly EC sales lists and Intrastats
  • Input of all purchase & sales invoices
  • Ensure trade creditors reconcile to purchase ledger and creditor accounts to supplier statements
  • Provision of cashflow information to director
  • Assisting with the creation and proof reading of proposals
  • Booking travel, accommodation and general management of contractors
  • Assisting with the payroll of permanent employees and contractors
  • Several ad hoc business duties as and when required


To be successful for the role of Finance Manager you must have the following:

  • Ability to management the accounts of a small business
  • Willingness to work within split Finance / Business role
  • Knowledge or experience within a consultancy highly desirable
  • Sage line 50 experience highly desirable

Job Offer

£35,000 - £45,000 + excellent benefits
