Description
The key responsibilities for the role of Junior Accountant are; amongst others:
- Sales Ledger
- Purchases ledger
- Bank reconciliations
- Fixed assets reconciliation
- Prepayments and Accruals
- Complete month-end balance sheet reconciliations
- Factoring reconciliation
- Managing credit control
- Inter-company transactions
- Working closely with Payroll & Billing
- Payroll
- Cashbooks
- Payment Runs
Profile
The successful candidate for the role of Junior Accountant must be/have:
- 2 to 4 years previous accounting experience
- Strong Excel Skills (Will be test during interview process)
- Sage experience would be preferable but not mandatory
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Attention to detail
- Studying CIMA
