Description
- To manage a portfolio of clients including, if applicable, analysing and providing effective solutions to clients' problems. Providing a fast and valuable service to clients.
- To lead the planning and delivery of tax compliance, accounting services and specialist assignments to include co-ordination to ensure clients' needs are met.
- Accurate timetabling of jobs
- To review file reviews of assignments undertaken by Assistant Managers to ensure high standards are maintained.
- Prepare final high technically complete and accurate sets of accounts for Partner review.
- Review of Corporation Tax computations
- To review files and chair planning/clearance meetings with clients.
- Ensure that the Partner responsible is kept informed and fully aware of any overruns providing recommendations to justify and obtain additional fees.
- To manage, mentor and motivate all direct reports ensuring that constructive feedback is provided from assignment reports and performance management reviews to ensure that individuals and the firm continues to develop and deliver a high quality service.
- Set high standards and monitor the activities of the audit team to ensure all testing is delivered on time and to high standards.
- Develop strong client relationships, liaising regularly with clients on their affairs and potentially identifying new business opportunities for ABG in order to increase income and client satisfaction. Advising responsible Partner accordingly.
- To manage & review on a regular basis the work in progress & ensure client billing kept up to date.
- Communication with other departments within the firm
- Ensure compliance with all relevant policies and legislation.
- Identify new business opportunities for the Firm in order to increase income and ensuring client satisfaction.
