Our client is a leading interior design company, located in London's West End, a short walk from Oxford Street. Due to growth across their business, they are looking for a Management Accountant to join their accountancy team to focus on their hotel business.

Description

Located in London's West End, our client is looking for a Management Accountant with responsibility for the following duties:

Preparation of the Quarterly Management Accounts for required entities;
Preparation of Quarterly Consolidated Board Pack (by 20th of following month);
Preparation of unaudited annual financial statements for trading and non-trading entities;
Assistance with preparing year-end packs, reconciliations and schedules for the auditors and tax advisors;
Request quarterly reports from external contacts
Review of VAT returns prepared by Accounts Assistant;
Assistance with preparing budgets, forecasts and cash flows for entities;
Assistance in streamlining accounting system and implementing new management account efficiencies;
Assistance in adhoc queries/requests;
Provide cover/ad-hoc assistance to Accounts Assistant for bookkeeping and payment runs/company statutory information;
Prepare Hotel Feasibility Reports

Profile

The ideal candidate will have

• strong knowledge in the Hotel industry and has done accounting for hotel management companies
• Completed year end process
• strong management accounting skills
• Sage Line 50 experience would be advantageous

Job Offer

Salary of £35,000 - £40,000
