Aston Carter have partnered with a leading global insurer in the search for an experienced Senior Finance Manager to drive operational excellence and business performance. The company has a fantastic brand in both the local and international market, partnering with a large and diverse client base. Locally they are set for significant growth and development in the short-term.

The Senior Finance Manager will be the key 'go-to' for the business regarding strategic performance and insights. The role will report directly to the Head of FP&A, with the local CFO and senior leadership team as primary stakeholders. In addition to b eing the primary finance point of contact for the Operations, Sales, Product and Pricing departments, you will additionally partner with the senior leadership team to drive organisational strategy and performance. Additional responsibitlies include;

• Lead the annual strategic planning cycle, including delivery of the 5 year strategic plan,

• Full year, quarterly and monthly budgeting and forecasting,
  
• Instil a continuous improvement mentality in the FP&A and broader finance teams, aimed at process and system efficiencies,
  
• Provision of detailed decision support analysis and ad-hoc requests to business units,
  
• Key conduit between FP&A, Strategy, PMO and Product to drive growth strategy,
  
• Provide detailed advice on the operational efficiencies of the current finance function, helping to establish a best practice environment, and
  
• Manage the regular results analysis and engage in the quarter and year end planning and reporting cycles.
  
• Partner with the executive leadership team on new product launches and staregic planning,
  
• Have direct leadership and mentoring exposure for a Finance Manager and Management Accountant.
  

To be successful in this role you will be CA/CPA qualified with several years of senior level decision support or Group FP&A experience. You will ideally have experience within Insurance. Exceptional verbal and written communication is a must, as is strong excel and TM1/PowerBI (or equivalent) systems skills.

The role will provide you will significant long term career progression, you will be exposed to global operations and will be a key advisor across the width and breadth of the local business.
