Head of Finance

We are currently recruiting an exciting No.2 position, Head of Finance for a key client in the Newcastle area. This is an opportunity for someone to step up into the role and head up the operational team.

Client Details

This Global PE backed business, based in Newcastle are going down an exciting growth journey.

Description

Based out of their Newcastle office, reporting into the Group FD you will head up both the operational & transactional Finance function.

Key duties:

• lead a large team of finance professionals, providing ongoing coaching and development
• month end close across all global business entities
• review process improvement within team and business function
• provide robust technical financial advice and guidance to a range of senior stakeholders globally

Profile

The successful candidate will be a Qualified Accountant with 5 years+ PQE, you will have had solid hands on experience of coaching and upskilling staff and a proven track record of embedding a high performing culture.

You must be technically strong, with high attention to detail and possess a positive, resilient attitude.
