Partnerships
Partnerships represents a fusion of contracting, housing and mixed–use regeneration expertise. We undertake design and build contracting, mixed tenure and speculative development, estate regeneration and property support services nationwide. We work in collaborative long–term arrangements with Registered Providers, Local Authorities and other stakeholders to build high quality housing and sustainable communities.
Role Overview:
Management of the reporting and budgeting process for Partnerships & Regeneration, the development of reporting and budgeting systems and assistance to the Divisional Finance Director on ad hoc projects
Key Responsibilities:
* Preparation of consolidated divisional monthly management information, overhead analysis and year–end accounts.
* Control of all Divisional overhead expenditure, recharges to Business Units and weekly/monthly reporting in respect of Division.
* Management of the monthly HFM process, ensuring timely submissions from the Business Units and reconciling to submitted Management Accounts.
* Reviewing and improving financial processes and procedures for the Partnerships Division as a whole to include the development and production of Divisional KPI reporting.
* Maintain Partnerships & Regeneration finance section on the intranet
* Monitor and control divisional cash flow / cash targets
* Preparation of Purchase ledger/overhead payment runs
* Management of Partnerships & Regeneration key statistics for Group trading updates, presentations and accounts.
* Give guidance to Business Units for the Partnerships & Regeneration budget process and prepare consolidated divisional information and analysis.
* Update and issue quarterly review presentation packs to Business Units
* Liaison with Business Unit finance functions and associated staff to ensure reporting deadlines are adhered to.
* Drive compliance with Oracle/HFM procedures across all Business Units and assist with the development of a new finance reporting system in Anaplan
* Ad hoc project work when required.
* Interface closely with all other departments and teams including SSC
Experience and Qualifications:
* ACA/ACCA/CIMA Qualified with a proven track record in producing concise management information.
* Background of working to and achieving strict deadlines.
* Strong ability to challenge existing processes and improve upon them.
* Knowledgeable of financial systems and Excel to an advanced standard
* Advanced knowledge of HFM would be a benefit.
* Good at building relationships internally.
