Management Accountant

You will have the opportunity to work on a range of Management Accounts within the business which will keep the role varied and interesting. There are also commercial elements of the role which will require excellent communication skills.

Client Details

A successful SME environment who have grown considerably via acquisition and now seeking a new Management Accountant to join the Finance team.

Description

• Produce accurate Manageent Accountant including detailed variance analysis for some business entities.
• Maintain and develop the accurately recording of financial performance on projects.
• Undertake some Production Calculations as required in the Media Sector.
• Produce budgets and forecasts for all key entities, including continuous monitoring and immediately highlighting variances to senior Management.
• Prepare project cash flow forecasts for inclusion within the weekly rolling cash flow forecast.
• Ensure that accounting adjustments are reconciled and agreed with the Financial Controller and discrepancies are resolved.
• Produce a Monthly Management Accounts, including consolidation into Head Office reporting pack.
• Assist the Finance Director with the group requirements as and when they arise.
• Assist with the year end audit and production of the statutory accounts and corporation tax returns.
• Assist with the Management Accounts with new businesses as and when they are acquired.
• Additional Financial Reporting pertinent to the role, as and when required.

Profile

• Confident using Excel - ideally to an advanced level.
• Ability to communicate financial information to non financial people.
• Excellent organisational skills.
