The Head of Finance takes responsibility for all accounting, finance activities and commercial planning for the business across Europe, including the overall achievement of the financial, governance and efficiency objectives.

This pharmaceuticals company based in Chiswick and other London locations provide health and security solutions for organisations who have employees around the world.

They help companies prepare their workforce for travel to remote locations, and provide training and guidance on travel risk management to help keep workers healthy and safe, wherever they may be.

They also supply pharmaceutical supplies and medicines to all parts of the world

Description

The Head of Finance will be responsible for

leading a team of 4 including an FP&A Manager, Working Capital Manager, Finance Manager - France and Finance Manager

The role leads the provision of financial strategy and planning, takes responsibility for overseeing all the financial aspects of the business, including cash management, working capital, balance sheet management, debt, taxation, acquisitions, leading budget cycles, regulatory and compliance and management reporting.

The post-holder must be able to balance financial acumen with strong commercial awareness, challenging assumptions and decision-making where appropriate whilst providing robust financial analysis and guidance on all activities, plans, targets and business drivers. The position will also be responsible for all commercial planning activities for European part of the business.

Profile

The successful Head of Finance will be a qualified accountant who has experience of

warehouse (food/ pharma / chemicals)

people management

working in a international matrix organisation

senior stakeholder management

the ability to speak another language would be advantageous

Job Offer

The package on offer is a base salary of circa £80,000 plus benefits
