My client is a well-established and progressive firm of accountants based in North West London.

Their services include accounting, auditing, tax, financial planning, payroll and business consultancy. Their expertise is geared to working with owner-managed businesses, small to medium sized companies, business start-ups, and UK subsidiaries of overseas groups.

Description

Your responsibilities will include:

Overall management of the tax department, reporting to the tax partner;
Monitoring and organising the flow of self-assessment tax returns;
Technical supervision of work produced in our tax department;
Management of tax staff;
Induction and training of tax staff;
Involvement in strategic development of our tax department;
Hands-on personal tax compliance work;
Dealing with complex personal tax cases and Revenue enquiries;
Advising and meeting clients and potential clients;
Estate and trust tax work;
Expatriate tax consultancy and compliance;
Advising on CGT and IHT matters.
