The Job: The Senior Financial Analyst is responsible for the design, implementation and maintenance of budget and forecasting models as well as the creation, and maintenance of a 3 statement multi–year model. The Senior Financial Analyst supports the Finance team with a wide variety of analytical and business planning projects, including ongoing financial analysis of events and overhead, as well as the balance sheet and cash flow. Provide insight and analysis to sales forecasts; assist with event forecasting; prepare presentations of financial information and other ad hoc projects. The Work:
  • Review financial statements (balance sheet, P&L, cash flow) and performance of all events, and department overhead with an emphasis on financial metrics, KPIs, trends and overall business health
  • Provide commentary related to business financials with a strong focus on spotting inefficiencies
  • Prepare monthly departmental variance reports to update senior management on event and departmental performance
  • Provide forecast of free cash flow by month and relevant commentary for senior management
  • Use analytics and technical expertise to identify any risks or opportunities within budget and forecasts
  • Liaise with senior level management to build ad hoc reports and models
  • Provide analytical support on potential future investments within the business such as new event formats, marketing, etc
  • Provide valuable insight over potential process improvements The Traits:

  • Ability to work effectively with individuals at remote locations including international offices as well as events teams
  • Be extremely organized; demonstrate initiative and ability to multitask
  • Individual must work well in a dynamic environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • High proficiency with finance and Microsoft Office software applications.
  • Proficiency with Salesforce, Tableau, and Dynamics SL a plus The Experience:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or equivalent degree is required.
  • Analytical experience
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel, experience with Microsoft SL or SQL a plus
  • 3–5 years' experience with at least 2 years of prior experience in banking or corporate finance
