Sales Agent (Commissioned Based Contract)

Sagicor Bank Jamaica is seeking engaged and enthusiastic candidates, island wide, who want to command their own salary and achieve financial stability in an exciting and challenging environment to join our Commissioned Sales team in the capacity of: Sales Agent (Commission Based Contract) The successful candidate would be required to prospect potential businesses to effectively sell the Company's point-of-sale products, business and consumer credit cards, unsecured point-of -sale loans and auto loans. Key Duties and Responsibilities Identify potential opportunities for business engagements Maintain a minimum performance target Develop and maintain relationships with business partners that is aligned with brand standards and expectations Liaise with internal partners to provide the necessary information that would allow for a smooth and timely processing of all enquires. Monitor performance through the submission of weekly reports. Academic Qualifications/Specialized Skills/Competencies: Minimum of a Diploma in a Business Administration or any related area. Prior sales experience* An engaging, energetic, and enthusiastic personality A Valid Driver's License and frequent and regular access to a reliable motor vehicle Excellent presentation skills Strong Interpersonal skills and ability to think critically and strategically Ability to learn quickly with an aptitude to assess economic climate and seize opportunities for business Excellent communication (oral and written) and negotiating skills Ability to work with all levels of persons, across the business *Training on products to be sold will be provided, so prior sales experience does not need to be in the products mentioned above.
