Senior Finance Analyst

Senior Finance Analyst role which includes responsibility for P&L Balance sheet reporting, core financial oversight, business planning, forecasting, budgeting and mentoring junior colleagues. A fantastic opportunity for someone in the upward trajectory of their career.

Description

-Daily P&L & Balance sheet reporting and oversight. This includes approval of daily subledger

P&L, preparation of daily commentary and reviewing changes to the daily balance

sheet.

-Core Financial Oversight including price verification, validation of appropriate use of models

for records, monthly and quarterly revenue commentary & internal control process including

SOX.

-Planning & Reporting including influencing business strategy, plans, budgets and forecasts.

-Running the expense approval process for deal related and organisational expenses as well

as providing expense related analytics.

-Mentoring junior colleagues in CFO as we build out our organisation at all levels.

Profile

-Good academic profile with a 2:1 at degree or equivalent experience

-Qualified (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) or CFA with good working knowledge of

accounting concepts

-Excellent excel skills with the ability to build and use spread sheets

-Demonstrable risk identification and management

-Positive relationship management and partner management ability

-Investment banking experience desirable but not necessary

-Knowledge of derivatives and associated products or a willingness to learn about these

products

Job Offer

-Basic salary of £38,000-£48,000 dependant on experience
