Role Purpose
The Senior Financial Analyst will play an integral role in the day–to–day management of Studio Production and Facilities finances, including payments, tracking, budgeting, and forecasting. This position will support the Director of Studio Production & Facilities Finance. The Senior Analyst will also be part of the production closing process including accounting entries, reports, consolidations and reconciliations.


  • Maintain the operating and capital budgets and forecasts for the NBC Sports Group Stamford facility
  • Track spending against budget and partner with the various operators to ensure spending remains within approved limits
  • Prepare and provide ad hoc financial analyses to operators and accounting
  • Lead regular financial update meetings with operators
  • Work with operations teams to track and account for all fixed assets within the facility
    Maintain allocation process for facility costs across the NBC Sports Group for those departments housed in the Stamford facility
  • Work with Tax Department to compile paperwork for the State of Connecticut and other governmental agencies as it relates to the Stamford facility
  • Own accounts payable responsibilities: track status of POs, accurately code invoices, coordinate approvals, update operators and team members and work with vendors as needed
  • Track and maintain documentation on current contracts, regular monthly payments and open balance sheet items
  • Own monthly and quarterly closing process: journal entries, variance analysis and post close financial reporting
  • Participate in ad hoc projects, as necessary


Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or related field
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in Finance and Accounting
  • Previous financial experience with real estate, facility management and/or production finance

Desired Characteristics

  • Strong with MS Office Suite products – particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
  • Experience with SAP FI/CO, BPC, and BW preferred
  • Knowledge of real estate/facilities and related topics is a plus (leases, capital equipment, tax incentives, etc.)
