Group CFO Assistant

The function of the Group CFO Assistant role is to ensure that all financial services, including maintaining financial records, processing payments, cash handling and salaries, rendered to the business units are proactive, timely, and meet their respective requirements. The Group CFO Assistant shall be e quipped with the right technical expertise in financial planning, corporate finance and business control necessary to guide senior management towards profitability and sustainability.

• Implement group’s financial policy guidelines and recommend improvements where necessary.


• Participate in the formulation of function’s strategy and long-term goals.


• Support establishing financial forecasts for the group.


• Monitor group’s liquidity and its day to day cash management.


• Gather data from business units to generate financial consolidation of the group and make sure balances are up to date.


• Perform all accounting practices including bank reconciliation, taxation, NSSF, payroll etc..


• Assist in research activities to provide analysis on market direction, impact of economic influences on the industry and investment opportunities.


• Keep abreast of new developments in financial regulations
