An exciting opportunity has opened for an accountant studying towards their ACCA / CIMA to join a thriving group accounting team.
Client Details
This growing technology company are a well known brand within the industry and have ambitious plans for the future.
Description
As the Junior Management Accountant you will be responsible for the following:
- Assist the Group Accountant with the preparation of the management accounts
- Prepare weekly cash reports to show the cash position of the group
- Assist the Finance Manager in dealing with audit and due diligence queries
- Assisting the accounts payable, accounts receivable and international payroll teams as required
- Preparation of journal entries
- Preparation of bank reconciliations
- Balance sheet reconciliations
- Profit and loss account analysis
- Provide ad-hoc general accounting assistance to the Finance Manager and wider financial control team
Profile
To be considered for the role of Junior Management Accountant you must have the following:
- Exposure to working within a similar role
- Strong academic background
- Studying towards CIMA / ACCA
- A good understanding of double entry bookkeeping
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel
- Experience in multi-currency transactions across international entities (desirable)
