The Payroll Specialist will be joining an energetic and professional working environment based in out of Cambridge responsible for the payroll of an expansive client portfolio. Within the role the Payroll Specialist will have responsibility for the entirety of the payroll cycle, experienced in manual calculations as well as being confident in producing and managing key client relationships.

Description
The Payroll Specialist will be responsible for:
- A large a varied client portfolio of clients
- Processing the payroll systems for both new and existing clients
- Year end reconciliations
- Keeping up to date with tax knowledge and well as current payroll legislation
- Conducting key manual calculations and be experienced in doing so
- Reviewing bureau processing requirements on a daily basis and working from their own initiative
- Building and maintaining key client relationships
- Submission of RTI returns to HMRC
- Sending starters, changes and leavers pension forms to the pension funds
- Monthly pension contribution returns
Profile
The successful Payroll Specialist will:
- Be a driven and dynamic individual keen on team and career progression
- Highly experienced and skilled in manual calculations
- Have exposure to a number of different systems
- Stay up to date on legislative changes that impact payroll
- CIPP qualified or actively studying towards to qualification would be preferable
