The role will involve partnering with 3-5 schools and managing their budgeting and forecasting programme alongside the Heads. This may involve producing high level analytics for the governers and setting commercial budgets for growth.

Our client is a well established multi-academy trust boasting a large proportion of Outstanding and good schools backed by a solid central function. The locally focused schools allows for outstanding sharing of teaching and learning and provide excellent support through a central service.
Description
The key responsibilities include;
- liaising regularly with Headteachers across the schools to understand and overcome key challenges affecting the financial performance of the business
- working with finance assistants within the schools and manage workload appropriately
- own and prepare the board pack preparation, month-end and assist on year-end
- own the delivery of insightful and comprehensive management reporting to aligned senior management team members
- support and lead ad-hoc strategic projects, investment/bid appraisal and transformation initiatives as required by the Head of Finance Business Partnering
Profile
The successful candidate will have;
- CCAB qualified
- a strong personality, comfortable challenging people and processes to drive the best business outcomes.
- a good communicator, comfortable with written and verbal presentation
- past experience of business partnering/financial planning and performance in a commercial entity would be beneficial
- good team player
- Delivery focused and willing to go 'above and beyond' to get the job done
- Ability to embrace change in a rapidly evolving organisation
Job Offer
275-325/day pending experience.
