Management Accountant

An exciting opportunity for an experienced Management Accountant to join a dynamic finance team within this leading consultancy business, having an immediate impact on a fixed term basis. The role will be responsible for the supervision and management of the divisional accountants with an active role with leading and developing the current team.

Description

The Management Accountant will be responsible for:

• Managing and supporting the Management Accounts team alongside the Unit Management Accountant
• Supervising and managing the existing team of divisional accountants as well as training
• Managing the working capital
• Working closely with the heads of the wider business on key financial matters
• Assisting with the preparation of the annual budgets and rolling forecasts
• Playing an active role in the continuing business plan of the business
• Assisting with bid preparation for key projects
• Ensuring all project and bid evaluations are completed with all tax risks identified

Profile

The successful Management Accountant will:

• Be a CIMA, ACCA or ACA finalist or hold relevant experience
• Hold previous exposure working for a multi-national company
• A driven and ambitious individual passionate about personal and team development
• Be confident in building and maintaining key business relationships
• Advanced user of Excel
• Be comfortable providing key financial information to senior level management
• Hold previous project accountancy experience
