Management Accountant

A great permanent opportunity for a full time part qualified, management accountant role based in central Stockport.

Description

This role is reporting in to the Financial Controller.

The duties include:

· Consistent production of management accounts, reports and other financial information
· Analyse management accounts to budget/forecast and last year and provide commentaries
· Ensure all balance sheet accounts are reconciled to supporting documentary evidence with any variances investigated and resolved
· Prepare year-end and half year group reporting packs and any relevant analysis in line with group accounting policies
· Prepare year-end tax pack in accordance to Group Tax Department guidelines and reference to supporting documentation
· Attendance at management meetings and any other meetings as requested by client company management team.
· Provide business support and assistance to regional management teams in respect of detailed financial information as well as proactive involvement in the annual budget and rolling forecasts processes.
· Working with the commercial teams to gain commercial awareness of the regional business and to provide support and input to decision making.

Profile

The successful candidate MUST:

• Have experience working in a similar role - Essential
• Be part ACCA or CIMA qualified - Essential
• Have experience and be comfortable using MS Excel - Essential
• Be a strong communicator at all levels - Essential

Job Offer

This role is looking to pay from £34,000 to £36,000 per annum + Study support + Parking + Pension
