My client, a bank based in Edinburgh are recruiting for a Regulatory Accountant to join their team on a 6 month rolling contract basis. The successful candidate will be responsible but not limited to the below;

- Ownership of key quarterly COREP returns to the PRA.
- Ownership of monthly and quarterly capital and leverage returns.
- Support production of Annual Finance Statements, Pillar 3 and ICAAP documents.
- Ownership of core reconciliations and control packs that support the calculation of
regulatory capital. - Ownership of core regulatory capital and large exposures calculations to demonstrate
compliance with the regulatory rule-book.
In Addition to the above, the successful candidate must possess the below in order to be considered for the role;
- Part-qualified or qualified CIMA or ACCA or equivalent
- Understanding of the European Capital Requirements Regulation (CRR) and the latest
Capital Requirements Directive (CRD IV) for banks and investment firms would be
preferable. - Experience of the PRA reporting regimes.
and the EBA's COREP reporting framework would be preferable. - Excellent analytical ability and proven ability to work to deadlines.
- High level of integrity in approach to work and interaction with colleagues.
