Description
- Business partnering: As finance analyst you will be expected to liaise regularly with internal and external stakeholders, some who may not be finance literate.
- Model building: This role has a focus around the building and maintaining of financial models.
- Reporting: There is also a reporting element to this role, and you will be expected to be able to present financial statements in a timely fashion and easily digestible, understandable manner.
- Month end close: You will have complete ownership over the month end process.
- Forecasting: Developing the group forecasting models in order to produce rolling forecasts.
- Ad hoc analysis and commentary: You will be required to take part in ad hoc commentary when called upon.
Profile
The successful candidate will be:
- A qualified accountant with ACA, ACCA or CIMA (or equivalent) training.
- Passionate about commercial finance, and will show a desire to drive toward delivering results.
- Collaborative, with a clear ability to work well within a team.
- Well versed in cash flow models.
- Comfortable with ownership over the month end process.
- Excellent at communicating and reporting results to board members and stakeholders, both internal and external.
- Prepared to hit the ground running and drive performance levels in a newly established team.
