Day to Day Responsibilities:

Group Risk and Compliance (approx.65-75%)
  • Ensure that risk framework, structure, policies & procedures remained aligned with the Group’s risk appetite, business, and regulatory requirements
  • Maintain and review risk policies and procedures to ensure adequate checks, controls, and risk mitigations within the Group
  • Update the risk dashboard and compile group compliance report through regular communications with the key stakeholders to understand the company’s risk exposures and their controls
  • Prepare board papers and attend the quarterly board meeting to report risk matters to directors
  • Establish and implement the Outsourcing policy and maintain the Outsourcing register
  • Perform the ORSA process and prepare the ORSA report for the regulated company
  • Monitor and highlight to management incidences of risks and compliance matters
  • Conduct regular risk and compliance meeting to discuss risk and compliance matters with the key stakeholders

Finance Support (approx.25-35%)
  • Provide senior analytical work, include and not limited to actuarial analysis, financial planning and analysis needs for the group on new initiatives/ special projects
  • Assist in year-end reporting if required


To Qualify

The successful candidate is required to have the following qualities:
  • Decent years of work experience in Insurance Industries
  • At least 3 years solid experience in risk and compliance
  • Audit or Finance background with a degree in Accountancy or ACCA or qualified CPA
  • Open-minded and be flexible of responsibilities, as this person needs to be involved in finance project if required.
