This is a fantastic opportunity for an Accounts Senior or Outsourcing Senior to join a highly reputable firm of Accountants as a Cloud Accounting Accountant. You will get lots of autonomy and have lots of client facing experience in this progressive opportunity.
Client Details
This client is a large firm of chartered accountants with a strong presence across all sectors in Kent. They are market leaders in a few of their specialist areas and are focusing on developing their cloud accounting offering to their clients. This will be a crucial role in the development of the practice.
Description
The main focus of this role will predominately be spent on the firms cloud accoutnign offering. You will work within the Business Services team whcih is focuseed predomintalt on the smaller client sof the firm with tunrovers under £10m. You will be the ambassador for cloud acocutnign in the department whcih will cover all softwares includign Sage, Kashflow, Qucikbooks and Xero plus many more.
You will be client facing, spending time with clinets to transition them to the relavant softwares and trainign them accordingly. You will also take repsonsiblity for training the team internally and old seminars/ trainign sessions as required. The remit of the role can be adjusted accoridnlgy and the level of cloud accounting/ general accoutning can be moulded around the indidual. Other work would involve processing accounting records, preparing bank reconciliations, preparing management and statutory accounts, cashflow forecasts, plus VAT returns.
You would play an important role in the smooth running of the team, providing colleagues and clients alike with an excellent level of service and ensuring all work is completed efficiently, effectively, and in compliance with company and industry regulations, working closely with junior members of the team to ensure their continual development.
Profile
ACA or ACCA qualified or Qualified by experience
Have 3-5+ years accountancy practice experience
Have experience of Xero or other cloud accounting software.
