Elevation Accountancy & Finance are currently recruiting a highly experienced Purchase Ledger Clerk on behalf of a key client based in the Barnsley area.

This a fantastic opportunity for someone with a wealth of accounts payable knowledge to expand on their skill set within a fast-paced and challenging environment.

Duties of the Purchase Ledger will include:

- High volume supplier invoice processing
- Supplier set up, following the company’s internal procedures
- Accounts payable payment processing
- Ensuring suppliers are paid to terms and discount is claimed where applicable
- Supplier statement reconciliations
- Ensuring all aspects of role remain compliant
- Working across multiple ERPs and legal entities

Person specification:

- At least 2 years worth of experience within purchase ledger
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work well under pressure
- Strong IT skills including Microsoft Excel
