Internal Audit Assistant
- Salary: On target earnings up to £ 20k plus study support

Objective:
To assist with ensuring the Motorline Groups full compliance with accounting policies and procedures.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Preparation of Remote Audit files
- Carry out remote audit of Company Management Accounts and Working Papers
- Test Internal Controls
- Prepare and analyse Financial Records for accuracy
- Ensure continued compliance with Tax Regulations
- Minimise Risk to financial Statements
- Assist with completing ad hoc investigatory work as required
- Liaise with External Auditors at year end
- Ensuring the completeness of all group company audit packs
- Following up queries with relevant personal
- Group Balance Sheet work as required (Payroll to P&L, Related Parties, etc)
- Attend Stock Takes (Parts and Vehicles)
- Cover for Group Compliance Assistant (reciprocal)
- Improve and drive the progression of the Internal Audit Process
- Cover other Finance Roles as required
- Any Other Duties needed in the course of the business activities
Candidate Requirements:
- Ideally you are studying or have a AAT qualification
- To have a keen interest in a career in audit and accountancy
- To be self-motivated, enthusiastic and the ability to use your own initiative.
- To communicate well with colleagues
- To travel to all sites as the business requires.
- To dress according to the Motorline handbook uniform requirements.
- To work at other sites if required to do so.
