PORTFOLIO ANALYST - VENTURE CAPITAL / PRIVATE EQUITY FUND

THE SEARCH:

The Client is a dynamic and innovative firm which has been providing debt finance facilities to high-growth companies across Europe for over 15 years. They have over $1.5bn in commitments across several funds and are currently in the middle of their next fundraise, further proving their stellar track record.

THE ROLE:

The company is now looking for a data driven portfolio analyst to join their team and responsibilities will include:

• Analysing performance and standing data across existing funds and future funds
• Development of KPI dashboard and management information suite
• Update the company's track record package on a quarterly basis, ensuring that data is reconciled to data used within both Finance and Investment teams.
• Work directly with both the Investment and Investor Relations team to support analysis and creation of material for investors
• Develop and maintain fund models, which are used to monitor performance and model portfolio out-turns under multiple scenarios
• Work with the investment team to update equity projections on a quarterly basis
• Supporting responses to LP information requests regarding fund performance and provision of portfolio company information

THE BACKGROUND:

• Graduate qualification in a relevant discipline
• 1-2 years experience in relevant field
• A knowledge of investment analysis and private equity is essential
• An experience collating and manipulating large quantities of data using excel
• A knowledge of VBA is a bonus
• Experience in using a variety of data systems
• The ability to self-manage and work with other teams to deliver a high quality without detailed supervision
