An exciting opportunity for a Senior Director to lead the Technology, Projects and Data Analytics audit team globally. Working closely with both Senior Management and the Board, this position offers an excellent opportunity to provide assurance over, and ultimately influence the implementation of, Macquarie's risk management framework.

As part of Internal Audit's management team, you will be responsible for overseeing a global team including the Data Analytics function, own the delivery of the Technology and Projects audit plan, and maintain the relationships with senior Technology and business stakeholders. You will also have a role in overseeing the execution of automated controls testing on Business Unit audits, contribute to the Internal Audit strategy and lead continuous improvement initiatives in a department that is progressive and innovative.

You'll be a hands-on leader with internal or external audit experience across a broad range of technologies in the Banking or Financial Markets sector. Strong communication skills, a questioning-mindset, resilience and problem-solving skills will also be critical in the role.

You will also need to demonstrate a consistent contribute to workplace culture whereby all staff feel challenged, enthusiastic, respected, valued and encouraged to make a difference. You will take the lead on managing and coaching members of the Internal Audit team in the skills required to perform assignments, and ensure they are delivering to a high standard of quality in accordance with Macquarie's methodology and professional standards with the right risk outcomes for the Group.

Internal Audit is an independent department within Macquarie with primary accountability and reporting line to the Board Audit Committee, and operational reporting to the CRO within Macquarie's Risk Management Group.
