As part of the Balance Sheet Management team, which is responsible for managing the Group's capital funding, and liquidity position, you will be responsible for designing and developing asset, liability and capital related models and analytical reports that will communicate risk exposures and financial performance. You will use your strong relationship skills to build relationships and consult with stakeholders to identify information needed to make funding and capital decisions and also work with data and technology teams to source data inputs. In addition, you will also produce presentations for submission to Macquarie's Asset and Liability Committee and Board.

This role will suit you if you have a passion for working with data, have experience with financial modelling, are highly analytical and if you have the ability to interpret and communicate complex information to a wide audience. Technical skills and experience working with data, programming, systems implementations and experience with programs such as Power Bi, Alteryx and TM1 is desirable.

A strong academic background in a financial or quantitative degree (finance, accounting, information technology, engineering or mathematics) is highly advantageous. Experience within Treasury is not strictly necessary, but you will have a strong interest and understanding of the Treasury Function.
