I am pleased to be partnering with a succesful product manufacturer based in Wellingotn who are looking to recruit a Creidt Control Team Leader, within their finance team. You'll be joining a dynamic, positive business who strive to achieve results.

Description

Key responsibilities:

  • Through communication with customers, externally & internally, collect all debts as they fall due and minimise overdue invoices
  • Resolve queries on customer invoices, internally & externally
  • Resolution of debit note deduction queries
  • Maintain good relationships with customers
  • Act as role model within the team ensuring best practices are followed and encourage team working
  • Identify and implement improvements to working methods & processes
  • Provide holiday and sickness cover with Credit Control as required
  • Ensuring team understand and adhere to company policy and procedure
  • Undertake annual performance reviews
  • Collate the monthly Intrastat return
  • Carry out credit checks on new customers
  • Ensure period end processes are completed on a timely basis

  • Used to challenging queries
  • Previous Credit Control experience essential
  • Ability to meet tight deadlines
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Good attention to detail
  • Good telephone manner
  • Good communication skills
  • Working knowledge of Excel & Word
  • Accounts office experience
