Delinquency Control Officers

Duties & Responsibilties: Identify the risk associated with all accounts assigned and enable prompt action to minimize loss Conduct strategic collection methods through various mediums Implement strategies to visit and collect from various delinquent customers with varying number of late days Must be able to recommend strategies to maximize the recovery of delinquent accounts. Must have very good knowledge and technical know how to use at least one (1) Loan Management System Must be able to generate/create reports as requested in a timely and accurate manner. Must be customer oriented and willing to provide service delivery that is consistent with LASMF standards Must be compliant and report any unusual occurrence or fraudulent activity to the Branch Manager Act on behalf of the company in all civil proceedings relative to the recovery of outstanding debts which includes:- preparing and filing plaints/summons Provide strong support to the company's Legal department regarding the recovery of outstanding debts. Any other duties that may be assigned Skills: Very good knowledge of Microsoft Office suite Customer oriented General knowledge of Collection Policies and Procedures Excellent knowledge of the services offered by LASCO Microfinance Ltd. Excellent knowledge of the legal requirements relative to the collection of outstanding debts Excellent communication skills Must be flexible Excellent Time Management skills Excellent negotiation and analytical skills Must own/operate a reliable motor vehicle
