Description

Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will be responsible for the following duties:

• Assisting the preparation of management and financial accounts - P&L analysis, reconciliations, overheads
• Posting accruals and prepayments, and other journals
• Maintaining the fixed asset register - including capitalisation, additions, disposals
• VAT returns
• Payroll reconciliations
• General ledger maintenance
• Multi currency bank reconciliations
• Cash book maintenance
• Overseeing the purchase and sales ledger functions
• Providing support and assistance to junior members of the team
• Identify process improvements and drive changes where necessary

Profile

The successful applicant must have the following skills and experience:

• AAT qualified or CIMA/ACCA studier
• Understanding of financial accounting
• Experience of month end close
• Good communication skills
• Strong Excel - look ups, pivots
