Management Accountant

Responsibilities of the role include:

• Based within a lean team, you will take primary ownership of the banks financial statements, month end close processes and financial analysis on the P&L and balance sheet.
• Assisting the Finance Lead you'll work closely with the business on financial planning and analysis, through managing costs and forecasting
• Preparing Financial data and MI packs for regional senior management and board members
• Engaging in the external audit process to ensure streamlining of work
• Interacting regularly with divisional Finance colleagues, and other teams in the bank including Product Control, Internal Audit, IT and Operations and projects SMEs in line with improvement schemes as necessary.

Successful applicants should have:

• Accounting/Finance/Numerical degree and Qualified Accountant with 2-4 years banking/FS/big 4 experience
• Confident in performing financial reporting/control tasks related to month end, as well as financial analysis skills
• Knowledge of Financial standards and principles
• Proactive and collaborative approach
• Efficient on MS Excel including pivot tables, vlookup
