Active Home Centre is seeking applications from suitable qualified persons to fill the position of INVENTORY CONTROL OFFICER Under the supervision of the Chief Accountant, the successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that items are available when they are needed to satisfy the organization's business needs, by maintaining an optimal inventory of goods and the accurate and timely updating of records to reflect efficient stock levels. He/she will also be required to Implement systems & processes that will ensure inventory accuracy is maintained to support the business Investigate and report all variances and discrepancies within the warehouse. Plan, Organize and lead annual and cycle counts as required Manage the inventory transfers processes between locations Analyze inventory movement to identify slow moving and obsolete stock Ensure all incoming products are received and managed according to company procedures Qualifications/Requirements AAT/CAT Level 11 or equivalent Minimum of three (3) years' experience in stock controls and inventory practices and processes in a retail industry Strong analytical and problem solving skills Excellent personal organization and time management skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills for a customer oriented working environment Possess the ability to work productively, efficiently & effectively in a fast paced environment whilst ensuring quality output Skills in MS Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word) Applicants are required to submit their resumes no later than December 31, 2018 We thank all applicants for their interest, however only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.
